IN PHOTO: DSWD Disaster Response Management Bureau (DRMB) headed by Director Michael Cristopher R. Mathay, together with DRMB Disaster Response Management Operations Division (DROMD) staff, met with DSWD Asst. Secretary for Special Concerns Irene B. Dumlao to deliberate on the Bureau’s initiatives pertaining to gender equality and empowerment.

This initiative serves as groundwork for the forthcoming Asia-Pacific Regional Consultation on the Commission on the Status of Women with the theme: “Accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective” scheduled to take place in Thailand on 6-7 February 2024.
