DSWD DRMG Meets with DSWD Regional Directors on DRCC Launch
𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐆: DSWD Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) Undersecretary Diana Rose S. Cajipe together with Dir. Leo L. Quintilla, Dir. Michael Cristopher R. Mathay and Assistant Bureau Director Rey E. Martija, convened the DSWD Regional Directors in preparation for the DSWD Disaster Response Command Center (DRCC) Launch to be held on 12 January 2024 at the DSWD Central Office, Quezon City.
During her welcoming address, USec. Cajipe underscored the importance of establishing the DRCC as an imperative and decisive step in overseeing, coordinating, and reporting on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) initiatives. This initiative is to highlight DSWD’s pivotal role as Vice-Chair for Disaster Response and Early Recovery of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). She enjoined upon all participants to unite and collaborate, emphasizing the collective responsibility in building a more resilient future for the Philippines.
