Risk Resiliency Program through Project LAWA at BINIHI
The Risk Resiliency Program is a climate change adaptation and mitigation program designed to enhance the resilience of vulnerable families and communities in the face of socio-environmental risks. Through a convergent approach, the program integrates cash-for-work initiatives and training programs centered on food security, water sufficiency, and environmental stability. One of the key projects under this program is Project LAWA at BINHI or Local Adaptation to Water Access and Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished which focuses on addressing water scarcity and malnutrition in impoverished communities. The project promotes local adaptation strategies to improve water access and increase food production through sustainable farming practices.
