On 05 December 2023, the DSWD Disaster Response Management Bureau (DRMB) began the Strategic Planning Workshop 2023 which aimed to develop the Bureauโs Strategic Plan for 2023-2028 aligned with the Departmentโs Strategic direction.
The activity allowed the Bureau to review and assess the current internal and external contexts of the office; identify strategies to address or build on the identified strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT); revisit and update the organizational vision and mission statements; and develop strategic objectives and performance measures from the identified strategies in alignment with relevant plans and policies.
During the conduct of the first workshop, the DRMB participants prepared a SWOT Analysis, which identified the bureau’s Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.
Mr. Dennis A. Grajo, Planning Officer III and Mr. Juan Carlos U. Aldana, Project Development Officer III of the DSWD Policy Development and Planning Bureau (PDPB) served as facilitators during the workshop.
